Summer Nights Concert 2026

Dust of your dancin’ boots and join us on Saturday 31 January 2026 for an unforgettable evening of live country music in Stratford’s King Edward Park.

The lineup features two incredible acts:

Jake Whittaker

An emerging force in the Australian country music scene, Jake blends classic country roots with a fresh, contemporary sound.

Fresh from his Top 6 finish on Australian Idol and with strong family roots in Eltham, he’s set to wow Stratford with his soulful lyrics and captivating performance.

His latest release “In My Blood” is a heartland anthem packed with grit and high-energy charm. The upbeat track is labelled a love letter to the moments that shape us, and we think there’s no better place to listen to it live than right here in the heart of Taranaki.

Rowdy’s Rose

The award-winning husband and wife duo from the Waikato are making a big sound in the country music scene around the world.

They recently won International Band Single of the Year at the 2025 International Singer Songwriter Association Awards in Atlanta, USA, and their hit single “No Greater Love” has earned them three nominations at the prestigious Josie Awards in Nashville this November.

Their songs have been loved on the airwaves across Australia, Canada, USA and the UK, and now we get to hear them live in concert in our own back yard.

Whether you’re a country music fan or just love a good night out with whānau and friends, our 2026 Summer Nights concert in the park promises to be a toe-tappin’ celebration you won’t want to miss.
